Sankey: Lives Through The Lens

Our Heritage Project Co-Curating and Exploring the Sankey Photography Archive

We are delighted to confirm that we have received National Lotterys Heritage funding for an exciting and unique, 2-year photography curation projects Sankey: Lives Through the Lens. The National Lottery Heritage Fund has awarded Signal £250,000 in support of the project which is expected to engage 1000’s of people across Barrow and Cumbria.

Sankey: Lives Through the Lens, 2024 – 2026 will bring a range of workshops, masterclasses, volunteering opportunities, events and exhibitions to engage the local community with the Sankey Photography Archive.
