Sankey: Lives Through The Lens

Our Summer 2025 Programme!

Nicholas J.R. White

As part of our Sankey: Lives Through the Lens project, funded by the  National Lottery Heritage Fund, we commissioned photographers Nicholas and Dawn to create new work inspired by the Sankey Photography Archive. Their work, The Binding Tide by Nicholas and The Workers by Dawn, will be on display throughout Barrow this summer from Wednesday, 9th of July!

Alongside the outdoor exhibitions, enjoy a free programme of events and activities for all ages—bringing the projects to life across the town.
