As night-time pulls it’s dark veil over the metropolitan city of LA, heinous crimes are played out in streets and homes. Gyllenhaal plays the incessantly, driven character Lou Bloom, who, hungry for work unearths the breakneck world of crime-journalism. Lou discovers freelance film crews who pounce on dramatic scenes like fires, murders and crashes.
