Get Digital is Signal’s new exciting project starting up in November for 16-19 year olds who are not currently in work, college or training.  It is an opportunity for these young people to try some new fun digital media skills which will transfer into the work place.

With a chance to try before you buy on Sat 24th October 12pm – 4pm with a series of rotational taster workshops with filmmaker Karen Bird and Signal film tutors.  Filmmaking, editing and photography being the key elements for the project going forward enabling participants to make a showreel that showcases their work and skills to potential employers and college admissions tutors.

Once on the 5 week evening project starting Wed 18th Nov 7pm-9pm, the participants will also have the chance to access masterclasses with the BFI Film Academy course running parallel to Get Digital.  Plus an amazing opportunity to apply to work on a mentored short film production with film industry professionals.
