Mediabox funded short film project during which young people from Barrow-in-Furness along with filmmakers Carl Hunter and Clare Heney created a digital story inspired by the negative portrayal of Barrow in the Channel 4 Secret Millionaire programme.

The film is a visually compelling digital story featuring beautiful photographs from around Barrow paired with an intelligent and thoughtful poem written by Mark Harris, a young member of the project.

Channel 4 saw the film and have posted it on their website, the C4 Viewer’s Editor remarking “I have never seen such a beautifully crafted complaint as the one I recently received from a group of students in Barrow, made as part of a media training project”.
