in the spring, 2025, Nicholas J.R. White led a series of workshops with local participants to explore storytelling and photography. The sessions involved using the Sankey Photography Archive to reflect on their own relationships with modern-day Barrow. The dedicated emerging photographers created their own beautiful photo-stories and learned how to use software to import and edit their final photographs.

The result was the photographic publication: Place.
