Jack is a Manchester-based visual artist working in (and in the spaces between) sculpture, painting, response to site, print, public action, drawing, photography and video. Jack worked with year 10 pupils from a Barrow school during February and March exploring the exhilarating Barrow coastline and creating artworks through exploration of geographical and social boundaries. His work ‘You & Me, Outside’ is composed of sculpture, film, digital imagery and even karaoke and designed in response to our unique coastal proximity.

David specialises in the fields of cultural approaches to the climate emergency and species extinction. He used the dynamic tide systems around his home on Walney island for his film / installation ‘EQUINOX: a day with an ocean’s edge’ where visitors experience a 12 hour tide cycle accompanied by a conversation between the salt-marsh and the sea.
