INTERACTIVE ART with Lab212

Saturday 13 Oct | 9.30am-12.30pm

Ages 16+

Location: Cooke’s Studios

Learn the basics of creating interactive art in this fun, hands-on workshop with our fantastic guest artists Lab212.

Learn how to hack everyday objects using infrared technology and motion sensing. Then put this into practice by using different spaces in Cooke’s Studios to experiment with how these technologies can transform spaces to create sensory experiences.

This free workshop is a fantastic opportunity to learn from leading digital artists. The session has also been specifically designed with technology and objects that allow you to carry on your experiments at home and put into practice what you have learnt!

The workshop is suitable for beginners but might especially be of interest to those interested in creative technology, hacking, gaming, coding or simply trying something new as a way of being creative. You do not have to have any previous experience of working with technology to take part.

*We will confirm all places on the workshop by Thursday 4th October. Places on the workshop are limited and in the event that we are over subscribed, we will choose participants based on their reasons for wanting to take part.

If you require more information please email joanna@signalfilmandmedia.co.uk
