Opening up access to creative and digital technology learning for disadvantaged and isolated residents of Barrow
The Cadent Foundation is generously supporting us with funding that provides opportunities for people aged 18 or over to gain new digital and creative skills, develop self-confidence and self-belief and move towards employment in the creative and community sector.
WHAT HAPPENS?
So far participants have taken part in loads of different workshops, created digital and physical exhibitions of their artworks, had one to one and mentoring support, gained qualifications for working in the film industry and done paid work placements to develop vocational skills.

Workshops take place at Signal Film and Media, Cooke’s Studios, 104 Abbey Road, Barrow, LA14 5QR and via Zoom
Additional staff are on hand for support and are trained in safeguarding, mental health & emergency first aid.
