BFI Film Academy 2013/14, Driven

Signal Film and Media is a delivery partner for the BFI Film Academy Regional Network for Cumbria and Lancashire. The BFI Film Academy is a national scheme that aims to identify, nurture, celebrate and showcase the next generation of British film industry talent and give young people who are passionate about film the opportunity to develop the skills and ambition to forge a career in film. From January 2013 – January 2014 young filmmakers aged 16-19 from Cumbria and Lancashire have took part in courses covering all aspects of filmmaking and the film industry including programming, script writing, film production and distribution. Those that were selected received training from Industry Professionals and worked towards an Arts Award qualification.
