One of the teams, the ‘Hills team, came up with the idea of ‘making rocks talk about where they are from’…

The ‘Hillls team’ also chose to focus on the Slag banks in Ormsgill as a location

So we started to work out how we might make rocks from the Slag Banks talk…

firstly, we played about with sock puppets to try and workout how to give rocks a voice

Other groups experimented with paper animation and using Adobe Character animator to try and find the best way to get rocks to talk
